But what’s newsworthy about this story is the fact that, at the time of this incident, Rodman was supposed be locked away in the tranquil habitat of Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab quarters.

Now that the news has broke and fans realize Rodman is still the same drunken, attention-starved giant of man he ever was, they can actually watch the show to see how some of the drama unfolds on VH1’s Celebrity Rehab.

Staying inside the rehab clinic with other famous addicts—such as Mackenzie Philips, famous for allegedly being molested by Papa of The Mamas & The Papas, and Tom Sizemore, a consistent loon if ever there was one—Rodman is certainly in good company, and this season of Celebrity Rehab is already shaping up as one of the most popular to date.

Rodman is certainly no stranger to controversy. The dark and debased cloud of addiction has loomed over his head for many years, including those for which he played in the NBA. Dennis’s antics have made him front-page fodder constantly, and his addictions have said to range from cocaine and alcohol to compulsive gambling in Las Vegas.

These “rumors” of addiction, according to Rodman, seem true enough to an astonished public, however.
