After a domestic dispute at his house, San Diego Chargers linebacker, Shawne Merriman, was arrested and charged with assault and false imprisonment for choking girlfriend, Tila Tequila. He also refused to let her leave his home when she tried to leave his apartment. Tequila was taken to a local hospital for examination and Merriman was taken to jail.
