Popular DJ, DJ AM has passed away around 5PM this evening as his body was found in his apartment. Police are saying bottles of prescription pills have been found at the scene but it’s not certain what has killed the DJ just yet. DJ AM, who’s real name is Adam Goldstein, survived a plane crash last September when he was traveling with Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker.

Details of Goldstein’s death are sketchy but he had not been heard from for days and when a friend called police to break the door down of his apartment, his body was found.

This is just the latest casualty of the summer of celebrity deaths. Who will be next? So sad.
