As the highly credible New York Times and Rolling Stone Magazine is reporting, Michael Jackson wore a prosthetic nose in public. And it went missing during the autopsy of the body. The site is quoted as saying:
Left behind was a small, dark hole surrounded by bits of cartilage, Rolling Stone magazine said, citing witnesses who saw the King of Pop’s body on the autopsy table.
The prosthetic nose was to cover up years of plastic surgery Jackson had on his nose, and apparently the last surgery simply had it removed altogether! Could this be why they had a closed casket funeral for the singer? They aren’t able to locate his nose after his body was taken to the Coroner’s Office and laid in the morgue. Maybe the nose will end up on eBay someday.
Meanwhile, the body of Jackson has still not been laid to rest as the family continues to argue over where to bury the singer.
