On Larry King Live last night, the father of Michael Jackson, Joseph Jackson, claims that he never beat any of his kids. Despite the claims from Michael, Tito, Marlon, Jermaine, and several other of the kids that they received harsh beatings from their father. Then he goes on to say that millions of people all across the country spank their kids and if they say they don’t, they’re lying. Oh? Pot meet kettle, kettle meet pot, Joseph. It sounds like you are one of those people!!
There is a way to keep your kids in line without striking them! Talk to them, take away privileges, make repercussions for their poor choice of actions! Beating them only beats them down, Mr. Jackson and we certainly hope you don’t get any custody of your grandchildren!
Of course Joe Jackson spanked his kids! I think everyone knows that by now but he was raised in an era when beating your child was not considered child abuse as it is now. No doubt he was a stern disciplinarian and that is not disputed. Those kids were raised with morals and fear of “Jumpin Joe” at the same time. He beat their little butts all the way to the bank. lol

Joe said he didn’t ABUSE his children! Apparently he doesn’t consider spanking as abuse and neither do I. With all of the fame and fortunate the Jackson family has why is there so much emphasis on MJ being spanked by his father? Why not emphasize how he made them prosperous and MJ became the “King of Pop” as a result of Joe Jackson’s leadership!
