Ever since the big drug bust against Cameron Douglas last week, it’s been speculated about how Michael Douglas is taking all of this. Well now we know as he is speaking out on his son’s behalf. Cameron was busted dealing several pounds of both meth and ice and is looking at major jail time that could be from 10 years to life in prison. Poppa Douglas released the following statement.

“The family is devastated and very disappointed in Cameron’s recent behavior. Any family who has dealt with substance abuse knows how devastating it can be.”

Hmm…yes if he was actually abusing the substances himself, but he was dealing them. It’s not known whether Cameron was actually taking the methamphetamines himself, or just making some money on the side. Cuz you know….the Douglas Family is so broke.
