Olympic Gold Medalist swimmer, Michael Phelps was involved in a two car auto accident last night. The crash took place in Baltimore, MD when the other car ran a red light and caused the fender bender. The other driver was taken to the hospital for neck and arm injuries, but Phelps uninjured. Phelps was also questioned by police and then released. He was not given a breathalyzer test as according to police officer Anthony Guglielemi, “There was no need. He was completely coherent. He was cooperating with police. He gave a witness statement as to what occurred.”
Phelps was already convicted on a drunk driving charge in 2004 and plead guilty in Wicomico County.
