The former star of “The O.C.” says that she still has to explain to her parents exactly what she does for a living. Mischa Barton speaks out about what her parents think of her career,

“My mom and dad are still a bit confused and cautious about what I do. My dad is a stockbroker who studied law and economics and his dad was a politician. But I know him and my mom are still very proud of me.”

It’s okay Mom and Dad Barton, we don’t really understand how Mischa can consider herself an actress either.
