Back in 2007, Heath Ledger had started a music video project with the popular indie band, Modest Mouse. He was in charge of directing the music video for King Rat, a then unreleased song by Modest Mouse. A year later, the project reached completion but the video’s director was unfortunately not alive to see it happen. With the help of THE MASSES, they have added the last touches needed for the video to finally be put up LIVE on MySpace.

The story is VERY gruesome and has a lot to offer as a music video in terms of sending out a environmental warning message. It basically puts a whale in a human’s shoes and the human gets put in place of the whale that gets shot down, skinned and manufactured. Check it out for yourself.
