The “American Idol” wannabe Alexis Cohen, was struck by a car and killed. Her body was found by two pedestrians minutes later and the car that struck Cohen fled the scene.

But hours later, an arrest had been made in the case and 23-year-old Daniel Bark was charged with reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident. If convicted, he could receive up to 15 years in prison.

Cohen has tried out twice for Idol on season 7 and 8, but has never gotten past the first stage. She is most widely known for her foul words for Simon Cowell after being rejected.
