Cirque du Soleil founder, Guy Laliberté will be the first Canadian Tourist to pass Earth’s planetary boundary or PBL for geeks and orbit in space for 2 weeks!
Launch of Soyuz TMA-16, his space ride is currently planned for September 30, 2009 at 7:17:30 UTC in Kazakhstan.
Astronaut Laliberté embarks in the world’s first POETIC SOCIAL MISSION in Space which will include a major creative demonstration put together as we speak by Cirque du Soleil in order to raise awareness about water-related issues and its links with poverty. His message will be to spread from outer space the dream of his foundation called ONE DROP: “Water for all, all for water.”
