Seeing that her music career isn’t going anywhere, why the hell not? Despite being married to poserboy, Pete Wentz, it seems that Ashlee Simpson is wanted to act in the remake of “Melrose Place”. Simpson hasn’t acted since her small part on “7th Heaven” in 2002. The bigwigs at the CW network have ordered a pilot for the show and Simpson is slated to star in it.

So yet another remake of a show no one wants by Hollywood who seemingly has run out of new creative ideas. Yawn.
