We present to you our first annual Top 10 TV Shows Awards for 2008. As this is our first, we’ll skip through all the bullsh*t and go straight to our winners. You will see that we used Popularity and Quality of the shows to determine the winners.
Follow back to Part 1 (Winners from #10 to #6)
5. Chuck

Onto their second season, Chuck is not only one of the smartest comedy shows out there but always evolves into something far greater than what we expected into every new episode. Not counting the hot looking secret agents. WARNING: You will get mad to see that Chuck never fucks the hot blonde chick. It’s sad.
4. Dexter

Dexter has just evolved to be one of TV’s finest murder/investigation series and it’s not ready to give up just yet. In 2008, Dexter has delivered top quality episodes every time and has really kept us on the edge of our seat wondering what’s going to happen next, is he going to get caught? is he really human? Would this really be the right thing to do? You really get to live inside the character, and man, it’s just plain awesome.
3. Gossip Girl

The trendy New York Upper East-sider drama series have known to give what teens of our era (mostly gays and girls) in 2008 were really looking for in a snobby and rich drama that is of Gossip Girl. If you need more explanation than this, then I suggest you check it out.
2. Prison Break

To rack up our second place for our Top 10 TV Shows for 2008, is nonetheless but Prison Break. Their 3rd and 4th season just deserves all the credit that it has been receiving in the past few months. Again, another intelligent and unique action drama that just brings you to the edge of your seat after each episode, just bitching a fit that you have to wait another week just to watch the next. Life just isn’t fair.
Fun Wreck: Fox has announced that they will discontinuing the show as of next season, bastards…
1. Heroes

Our first place for 2008 is (you probably could’ve guessed even before getting to the end) Heroes. Ever since their debut back in 2006, they have been racking number one spots all over the country. Some blame its quick success on the cool theme of superheroes, some on the hot Hayden Panettiere or even some on the chubby Time Stopper Asian, Masi Oka. I blame it on all 3, the actors are great, the theme is for sure a hit, and heck, they got the budget for it.
So GO Heroes, and hope you guys make it #1 next year too. Too all you geek fans out there, I also wish that they will one day decide to turn Rated R. Oh… we wish.
